ENVIROMENTAL
POLICY
Premier Painting prides itself on
our environment management plan that we have in place, and are
constantly looking at ways of updating this as new ideas come to
light.
At present our environment
management plan is as follows:
1: When possible we donate our unused and surplus
paint to the local TAFE for the apprentices to use. This has a
double benefit as the safest policy is to use up the paint and also
helps the community.
2: All our painters are up to date on the EPA
guidelines with on-site and off-site treatment areas on all sites.
All painters are regularly checked to make sure they follow these
guidelines stringently.
3: For Lead paint hazards we have one of our lead
certified Forman assess the hazard and recommend the safest
possible way of dealing with it, regular checks will be made to
make sure his recommendations are strictly carried through. All
hazardous waste is disposed of following the council’s guidelines
and all staff blood levels are tested regularly.
We recommend and
use the following Low VOC's paints
