Do I need council approval to change my exterior paint colours in Sydney?
Usually not for a standard repaint, but properties that are heritage items or sit within a heritage conservation area may need council consent for colour changes. Rules vary between councils, so check with your local council early. Our team regularly works within heritage guidelines and can advise on suitable colour schemes.
Does a Sydney strata repaint need owners corporation approval?
Generally yes. Works to common property are approved by the owners corporation, usually through the strata committee or at a general meeting, depending on the scope and budget. Our itemised proposals and colour samples are set up to support that approval process.
